Ready & Willing: Epilogue

One year later

Ava clung to Kaden as he carried her across the threshold. She’d been living with him since the night she’d gotten shot in his backyard. And after they’d finally managed to convince the police that there hadn’t really been a gunshot that night, she’d given herself to him.

And almost every day since.

“What a day,” she said, brushing her lips against his jaw.

As they’d promised her father a year ago, Kaden had become the proud Alpha of the WhitePaw pack. They’d married today in a small, family-only ceremony. She couldn’t wait for the honeymoon to begin…not that they hadn’t enjoyed each other plenty during the last three hundred and sixty five days. And nights.

“Did you have enough to eat at the reception?” he asked, heading for the stairs. It was like déjà vu.

“Yes. Why?”

He kissed her and didn’t stop until they were standing in the center of the master bedroom, naked and in each other’s arms.

“Because I don’t intend to let you out of this room until morning.”

  • Roxana

Ok, well that was rather anti-climatic. I hope there is a sequel in the works in
regards to how Kaden and Ava rule the pack as a team.

Thanks for the feedback. I wonder why my beta readers didn’t mention that.

  • Cheryl Sanders

I think there is a large chunk missing. After she was shot and then a year later, what happened??? If there was some sort of explanation for what happened with Kaden and Ava ruling the pack. Also, what happened with the weretigers??? It just ended to upbruptly and with no story to smooth the ending. Other than that, I loved it.

I don’t really think of epilogue’s as endings. Plus, you’ve got to kill a book sometime and make room for subsequent books. And of course, that bad weretiger will have to pay for his crime. 🙂

  • becky

Well hellsbells what kind of ending was that? No explanation on what happened to the were tiger. Omg i am so disappointed.

You’re disappointed that there’s more to the story? I guess I’ll put the weretiger/werewolf series on hold then. 🙂

By the way, I expect all three of you to sign up as Beta readers. We can’t have lackluster endings making it through. 🙂

I was disappointed with the ending but loved the book..definitely want more of these 2 heck I love all the wolves

  • Cindy

Good read and I agree with Roxanna’s comments about a sequel. Note there are a few typos to fix.

  • Vee

Enjoyed Kaden and Ava’s story but wish we had seen the resolution been an emphasis on them as Alpha couple and shared rule and not Kaden only. Hope there s more.

  • Christine

I couldn’t put it down hope you have a good story line for the were-tigers book, and can’t wait for the next one.

  • Pat Sheppard

Once you have released the last of the story is there any way to get the complete story instead of each chapter?

  • Amy Jo

Besides a few spelling errors… great story! The ending kind of sucked, hate not knowing how some things turned out! 🙁 By your comments I thought maybe there was going to be more to the story in a series maybe? If so how do I find them? Keep up the good work Selena!! 🙂
