It was almost as if the other man knew how much Joe’d enjoyed the feel of Baby’s small body clinging to him. But that didn’t matter. Not only did he not want to like her, he couldn’t get involved with her. She was a client now, JJ’s best friend, and completely, utterly wrong for him.
